Dear school community,
As we journey through the year, it's time to turn our hearts and minds towards a very special occasion - Father’s Day! We are excited to celebrate all the incredible fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who play such vital roles in our children's lives.
Father's Day breakfast & musical performance - Friday 30th August
This year, the Community Council invites all our wonderful dads to join us for a special Father’s Day breakfast. It’s a morning dedicated to you, our heroes, where we can share a meal, enjoy each other’s company, and celebrate the unique bond between fathers and their children.
When: Friday 30th August 2024
Time: 8am to 9am
Where: Gazebos
Schedule: 8am - breakfast
8:50am - musical performance by students
9am - assembly and weekly awards
Our students have been working hard to prepare a heartfelt musical performance, especially for this occasion. We know how much it will mean to them to have their dads in the audience, cheering them on.
This event is a wonderful opportunity to create lasting memories and show our gratitude for everything our fathers do. We hope to see all our amazing dads there!
2025 - Year 4 BYOD changes
Parents please see the letter attached regarding changes to the Good Shepherd BYOD program for 2025.
Happy Father’s Day to all our wonderful dads!
Warm regards,
Trazel
The Year 4 students and teachers celebrated Mass with Fr Troy this week. Their religious focus was on the healing power of God. Year 4 reminded us that the Sacraments of Healing are an expresion of God’s mercy and love. They are gifts given to us by Jesus so that we may be spiritually as well as physically healed and restored.
Let us open our hearts to the healing power of God through these sacraments so we may be renewed in Spirit and strengthened in faith, knowing that in God’s unconditional and everlasting love, there is always hope, comfort, and peace.
Let us prayer together:
Merciful and Loving God
Give us all wisdom to guide our decisions and directions.
May we find unity, healing, and strength in community with each other.
Amen.
