Principal's message
Dear Good Shepherd Community
Parent Engagement Opportunities – June 2025
There are some great ways for parents and carers to connect, contribute, and make a difference in our school community this term. Whether it’s through learning, consultation, or volunteering, your involvement matters! Keep an eye out for opportunities.
Have Your Say – Anti-Bullying Rapid Review
The Australian Government’s Anti-Bullying Rapid Review is now open for submissions. Parents, students, teachers, and principals are invited to share their views to help shape a national approach to addressing bullying in schools.
Submissions are open until 20 June and can be made anonymously.
The National Catholic Education Commission and Catholic School Parents Australia are contributing to the review and will submit feedback on behalf of Catholic Education.
To make a submission or learn more, please see: The Anti-Bullying Rapid Review submissions – Department of Education, Australian Government
Join In – Community Council and volunteering
We would love more parent support, whether through joining our Community Council or helping at school events. Our recent Working Bee and Mother’s Day Breakfast were fantastic examples of how getting involved can build a stronger, more connected school community.
We have a Community Council Meeting coming up in Week 8, and all are welcome to attend.
Do you have an idea or suggestion? We’d love to hear from you!
Click here to share it with the Council via “On the Grapevine”
Your time, voice, and presence are valued-and make a real difference. Thank you for all you do to support our school community.
Stay warm and well.
Kind regards
Trazel
